Cost per Mille is also known as Cost per 1000 impressions.

It is the price that a marketer would have to pay to get 1000 campaign impressions.

It usually depicts the price of 1000 digital advertisement impressions on a single webpage.

CPM is one of the common methods for pricing web ads.

CPM is best suited for a campaign which is focusing in enhancing brand awareness.

 

 

Cost Per Click

Cost Per Click Is also called Pay Per Click, is a model which is used to get traffic into websites.

In CPC, the advertiser pays the publisher which can be search engine, website owner, when the advertisement is clicked.

When the advertiser's budget is hit, then the advertisement is removed from the rotation for the remainder of the billing period.

Average cost per click = Total cost of clicks / Total number of clicks.
